December Reading Activity 12月『悅讀』活動
Cross-curricular Learning and Curriculum Development Team organized a monthly reading activity called「悦讀」(Read, Know, Learn & Go) in collaboration with School Library, English Department, English Society and Music Department in December 2024. The activity aimed to help students become global citizens by widening their cross-cultural perspectives. Students were encouraged to explore different cultures through a variety of fun activities. Students were required to complete four missions to get a prize and Tack Ching stickers. The missions included borrowing a book about culture / music, or a book written by Roald Dahl from the school library, completing a Wonka worksheet (Design a new creation for Wonka’s Chocolate Factory for junior forms and completing an application form for a job as the director of the factory for senior forms), taking part in 始原•鼓動 activity organized by Music Department and Wonka / Scottish Culture activities organized by English Department at the game booths in Multi-Purpose Area at lunchtime on 19th December 2024. Outstanding student worksheets were showcased in Multi-Purpose Area. The event was well received and the students participated enthusiastically in the activities.
